The Frederick Symphony Orchestra (FSO) is seeking qualified musicians to play for the upcoming 2017-2018 season. Auditions will be Aug. 31, 2017, by appointment in Room 145 of the Fine Arts Building at Frederick Community College (FCC) in Frederick, Maryland.

The FSO, a semi-professional community orchestra, performs five concert programs annually and will rehearse weekly on Thursday evenings at FCC from Sept. 7, 2017 to June 2018.

All available positions are unpaid and voluntary assignments. Openings are available for each of the bassoon, trumpet, and trombone sections. Auditioning musicians must be prepared to perform portions of two different works (either solos or orchestral excerpts) and sight-read.
