Our final concert of the 2016-2017 season will pay tribute to the most famous love affairs in Hollywood classics and Broadway staples.
The Frederick Symphony Orchestra will be performing Forbidden Love in the Jack B. Kussmaul Theater at Frederick Community College on June 17, 2017 at 7:30 p.m.

This will be followed by selections based on William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, including Love Theme from Romeo and Juliet (also known as A Time for Us) by Italian composer Nino Rota and Romeo and Juliet Fantasy-Overture by Russian composer Pyotr Tchaikovsky.
After intermission, Associate Conductor Andrew Rosenfeld and the FSO will perform the theme from Forrest Gump by American composers Alan Silvestri and Calvin Custer and selections from Phantom of the Opera by English composer Andrew Lloyd-Webber and Custer.
