Patrick Lee, Jacqueline Chen, and Jeb Hamel have been selected to play Hebrides Overture (Fingal’s Cave) alongside the Frederick Symphony Orchestra on April 30 in Jack B. Kussmaul Theater.
The Frederick Regional Youth Orchestra music director recommended these students to FSO Conductor Glenn Quader who said he’s excited to work with each of these youth musicians. Lee, Chen, and Hamel come to the orchestra through a new side-by-side initiative which provides performance opportunities with the FSO to local youth orchestra musicians.
“We hope that Patrick, Jackie, and Jeb gain valuable experience from our musicians. They’re very talented for their respective ages, and we look forward to sharing the stage with them.”
