FSO To Begin 2016 Frederick Camerata Summer Concert Series

The Frederick Symphony Orchestra is excited to perform our Frederick Camerata Summer Concert Series, beginning July 2016.

Buster and Charlie at the Park will be on July 20, 2016, at 8 p.m. in the Baker Park Bandshell. The performance will include Philip Glass’ “String Quartet No. 5, Movement III,” and three silent films, including “The Immigrant,” “Cops,” and “Pedigreedy,” that will be accompanied by Ben Model’s original compositions.

Symphonies at the Basilica will be on August 6, 2016, at 7 p.m. in the National Shrine of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton in Emmitsburg, and Classics on the Creek will be on August 13, 2016, at 7 p.m. in the Carroll Creek Amphitheater. Both performances will include Glass’ composition as well as C.P.E. Bach’s “Symphony No. 3 in F major” and Josef Haydn’s “Symphony No. 88 in G major.”
