The Frederick Symphony Orchestra (FSO) is seeking qualified musicians to play for the upcoming 2016-2017 season. Auditions will be Aug. 25, 2016, at 7 p.m. at Frederick Community College (FCC) in Frederick, Maryland.

The FSO, a semi-professional community orchestra, performs 5 concert programs annually and will rehearse weekly on Thursday evenings at FCC from Sept. 1, 2016, to June 2017.

All available positions are unpaid and voluntary assignments. Openings are available for each of the string, brass, and wind sections. Auditioning musicians must be prepared to perform portions of 2 different works (either solos or orchestral excerpts) and sight-read.
