July 13, 2017: Summerfest Family Theatre

July 15 – 16, 2017: Reggae Wine Festival
Visit Linganore Winecellars in Mt. Airy for live music, wine tastings, and more than two dozen arts and crafts and food vendors.
July 20, 2017: Symphony Storytime
These musical storytimes feature the talents of Frederick Symphony Orchestra musicians performing classical music to beloved stories. Music & Arts will provide a musical instrument petting zoo at Emmitsburg Branch Library.
July 21, 2017: Little Musicians
These FSO programs engage children’s natural love of music with activities and games that introduce early music concepts at Thurmont Regional Library.
July 23, 2017: The Fredericktowne Player’s Hairspray
Join our double bassist Jay McRoberts II at Jack B Kussmaul Theater at Frederick Community College, as our hometown theater troupe performs a live rendition of the classic musical set in Baltimore during the 60s.
July 24 & 26, 2017: Little Musicians
These FSO programs in partnership with Frederick County Public Libraries engage children’s natural love of music with activities and games that introduce early music concepts at Urbana Regional Library.
July 27, 2017: Alive @ Five
Walk on over to Carroll Creek to this 21-and-older event that features some of Maryland’s best talents, including The Pasadena Band, a rock reggae group with a little twist of Irish.

August 5, 2017: Camerata Series: American Season
The FSO’s summer residency under the direction of Associate Conductor Andrew Rosenfeld will be playing Aaron Copland’s Appalachian Spring (Suite For 13 Instruments) and other works at Horning Theater at Mount St. Mary’s University in Emmitsburg.

August 19, 2017: Happy Days – The Musical
Goodbye gray skies, hello blue! Happy days are here again at Way Off Broadway Theatre in Frederick. Based on the hit television series, Happy Days reintroduces one of America’s best loved families, the Cunninghams, to a new generation.
