The Frederick Symphony Orchestra launches its inaugural Chamber Series: Symphony Spotlight, in a showcase of baroque and classical gems.
This new series features the small ensembles and soloists from the FSO as well as guest artists. Soloists for this concert include FSO harpist Casey Perley, performing Handel’s Harp Concerto, and harpsichordist Wayne Wold, chair of Hood College’s music department, on Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No. 5.
The FSO also proudly features Frederick’s Kokopelli Wind Quintet, performing selections from Dvorak’s Serenade For Winds.
